What is employability?
Employability is a person’s ability to find a job, but also the ability to keep the same job for as long as possible or to change or improve it by combining skills (hard and soft skills), human and social capital, and adapting to contexts and changes and thus improving one’s professional role and status.

Employability, therefore, is the professional value of the person on the job market and therefore his marketability and his professional value (elements influenced by internal factors such as skills, training and abilities or by external elements such as the geographical context and the sector in which one operates).
Taking care of and improving one’s employability is crucial, especially in today’s labor market, characterized by high uncertainty and flexibility, to avoid finding
oneself unemployed or remaining unemployed for long periods. Indeed, people with a low level of education and training and outdated professional skills are unattractive to companies and often remain unemployed for long periods.
This is why everyone, even those already employed, must continue to train and improve their work skills and abilities, thereby improving their employability, which, in any case, is influenced by both internal and external factors
